50 bitcoins mined at the time of Satoshi were moved for the first time

The coins were mined over 10 years ago.

Someone transferred 50 Bitcoins from the time when Satoshi Nakamoto was still active. The coins, which today are worth R$ 3 million, were transferred on Thursday (01), at 5 pm, to the hot Bitfinex portfolio.

The 50 Bitcoins were mined in May 2010, when the Bitcoin was about one and a half years old. The owner has kept these coins since then and waited until last night to move them for the first time. The transaction was identified by BTCparser, a Telegram robot that tracks Bitcoin Future transactions.

If the owner of these 50 Bitcoins sold everything today, he would make $500,000 profit. In 2010, Bitcoin was worthless and very cheap and easy to mine.

The coins are known as „Satoshi era“ coins because they were extracted at the time when the Bitcoin creator pseudonym, Satoshi Nakamoto, was still attending the community, accessing forums and participating in Bitcoin development. Nakamoto was last active in Bitcointalk on December 13th, 2010.
